Victoria E. Massimino is an associate in our Long Island, NY headquarters and focuses her practice on labor and employment law. Ms. Massimino represents management in all areas of employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations.
Prior to joining KDV, Ms. Massimino worked as an assistant district attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Offices in Hempstead, and Mineola, New York. There she worked on preparation of jury trials, bench trials, and pre-trial hearings by conducting discovery, assessing cases for sufficiency, and drafting search warrant applications, for criminal case matters. Ms. Massimino also previously served as a legal intern for the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office’s Appeals Bureau, a private law firm, and the Monroe County Public Defenders office in Pennsylvania. In those roles she drafted appellate briefs, served as second chair in hearings, researched for arguments, drafted memos of law, complaints, discovery requests, and settlement agreements
During law school, Ms. Massimino staffed the school’s Labor & Employment Law Journal, received a Gold Level Pro Bono Service Award, and was a member of the university Trial Advocacy Association, among several activities.
