Suzan Karavel focuses her law practice on real estate. She handles landlord-tenant litigation matters and represents clients in matters involving commercial and residential breach of contract, unlawful detainer lawsuits, quiet title actions, tenant buy-out negotiations, and property management resolutions. She represents real estate brokers/agents, property managers, and property owners.
Ms. Karayel is experienced in representing and advising subsidized and supportive housing providers on program compliance and fair housing matters.
Before joining KDV, Ms. Karavel was an associate at a Bay Area law firm where she focused in landlord-tenant law. Prior to that she worked as a litigator and hearing officer at the San Francisco Housing Authority. During law school, she was a judicial extern at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California and excelled in advocacy programs
