Robert S. Silver has a robust practice in employment law and labor relations including employment discrimination and sexual harassment matters, compliance with workplace regulations and employment statutes, wage and hour lawsuits, wrongful termination and litigation. He develops corporate policies and procedures, employee handbooks, employment applications and employment contracts.
He has represented financial institutions, including securities broker-dealers and their registered representatives, in court actions and binding arbitrations in the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and its predecessor, the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), in cases alleging investment suitability, compliance matters, supervision, regulatory issues, and benefit plans. He also has significant experience in other professional liability matters, representing attorneys, directors and officers, real estate agents and brokers, insurance agents and brokers, accountants and architects.
Mr. Silver has substantial experience representing insurance companies as coverage and monitoring counsel, as well as defending insurance companies in coverage and bad faith litigation.
