Overview

Regan Heslop is an attorney concentrating her practice in labor and employment law. She represents employers in matters such as discrimination, wage and hour violations and compliance, wrongful discharge, and whistleblower and retaliation claims. She defends employers in class actions, collective Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions, and disputes involving collective bargaining agreements. She also works on harassment and breach of contract matters, including before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.

Additionally, Ms. Heslop represents insurance carriers and their insureds in matters before state and federal courts as well as the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission, and the U.S. Department of Justice. Ms. Heslop offers proactive counsel to help businesses develop and implement policies and programs to avoid employee complaints from escalating into litigation.

During law school, Ms. Heslop served as a law clerk in San Jose, CA, conducting wage and hour, and discrimination law work, and was a judicial intern at the Santa Clara, CA, County Superior Court, managing court documentation for under-represented clients. She was active in the school’s Entrepreneurs’ Law Clinic and obtained a specialized certificate in Corporate Law.
