Pietro Deserio focuses his practice on all aspects of labor and employment law. His employment litigation practice in state and federal courts includes defending employers in class and collective actions and defending against claims of discrimination, harassment, violations of wage and hour laws, and breach of contract. He is also experienced in litigations involving restrictive covenants and confidential information, representing clients in sensitive and significant trade secret and employee movement matters.

In addition, Mr. Deserio regularly provides counsel to clients regarding issues related to executive and non-executive hires and separations, policies and regulations, disciplinary actions, employee harassment, discrimination, and/or retaliation complaints, and issues arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic. He represents clients in a variety of sectors and industries, including manufacturing, entertainment, hospitality, healthcare, financial services, and retail.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Deserio worked as a senior associate at a full-service law firm, in its nationally recognized employment litigation practice. He worked in that firm’s New York and Los Angeles offices.
