Morgan Johnson is an associate attorney who focuses her practice on financial services litigation. Ms. Johnson represents financial institutions, registered representatives and financial professionals in areas of securities regulation, litigation, and arbitrations pending before FINRA and other self-regulatory organizations, as well as commercial litigation matters pending in courts nationwide. Ms. Johnson also advises on employment matters specific to the securities industry such as those arising when registered representatives transition from firm to firm, and related Form U4/U5 disclosures.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Johnson worked as an associate at a financial services firm representing large brokerage firms, investors, and registered representatives in areas of securities regulation, litigation and arbitrations.
While in law school Ms. Johnson was a law clerk for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office, where she first chaired dozens of trials and argued dozens of motions in various types of criminal matters. She was also a founding member and President of the South African Human Rights organization.
