Michael J. Gibson is an AV –rated attorney who focuses his practice on commercial, corporate, and real estate transactions.

In his commercial and corporate practice, Mr. Gibson represents manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and professional services firms in the formation of business entities. He provides counsel on commercial buy and sell arrangements, the purchase and sale of business assets and entity ownership, financing, employment and consulting agreements, and other commercial transactions.

Mr. Gibson’s real estate clients include owners and investors in commercial, industrial, and multi-family residential properties, developers, and building contractors. He provides representation on purchase and sale transactions, leasing, development, and financing. He also represents business and residential common interest development and owner associations.

Additionally, Mr. Gibson advises charitable, educational, and arts organizations in the formation, tax exemption qualification, maintenance, and termination of their organizations. He has both a professional and personal interest in heritage conservation law– the preservation of architectural and landscape resources of historic and cultural value– and offers his counsel to governmental, academic, and advocacy organizations.

He has represented clients in a wide range of industries as a founding member of successful practice Greenberg, Whitcombe, Takeuchi & Gibson, LLP, who joined with Kaufman Dolowich, & Voluck, LLP in 2022, to better serve the needs of the business and real estate industries.
