Megan E. Yllanes, litigation associate in the firm’s Long Island office, focuses her practice in construction law and professional liability law. She has experience in the areas of complex commercial and corporate litigation, professional malpractice, and construction law, with an emphasis on representing general contractors in construction defect litigation involving condominiums and homeowners associations. She also represents property owners, developers, contractors and construction managers, with respect to negligence claims including Labor Law sections 200, 240 and 241(6) claims.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Yllanes was an associate in the commercial services group of a New Jersey based firm. Ms. Yllanes also served as a law clerk to The Honorable Ronald D. Wigler, P.J.S.C. for the 2012-2013 judicial term. During law school, Ms. Yllanes served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Denis R. Hurley of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and The Honorable James B. Convery of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Prior to law school, Ms. Yllanes was a paralegal and summer associate at a New York City based firm.
