Overview

Krystal Caputo focuses her practice on commercial litigation and professional liability. She works on resolving disputes involving all types of errors and omissions (E&O) and disputes. Ms. Caputo also represents businesses, insurance carriers and their insureds in all aspects of employment practices liability defense litigation, from employment discrimination to sexual harassment to wrongful discharge.

Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, she served as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Kevin M. Shanahan, the Assignment Judge of Vicinage 13 of the Superior Court of New Jersey. She was also a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Mary Ann C. O’Brien, J.S.C. in the Family Division, and a Judicial Intern to the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. in the Law Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Ms. Caputo worked on a variety of matters including complex commercial litigation, contract disputes, professional malpractice, employment discrimination, personal injury, auto negligence, small claims, and landlord-tenant disputes.

Before attending law school, she was a Legal Assistant, and also interned at the Archdiocese of New York, where she assisted pro bono clients in applying for asylum. Additionally, Ms. Caputo was a real estate paralegal.
