Overview
Kieran R. Lang is an associate in our New York City office and focuses his practice on insurance coverage and litigation, and general liability defense.
In his insurance coverage work Mr. Lang assists business partners, including claims and underwriting teams, in identifying underwriting and coverage issues, as well as implementation of best practices from a risk management standpoint. In his general liability work, he represents a variety of companies and their’ insureds in automobile and motor vehicle-related accident claims involving bodily injury.
Previously, Mr. Lang was an associate at a Long Island, NY law firm, handling securities class actions, mergers and acquisitions, and shareholder derivative actions. During law school, he served as a law clerk working in medical malpractice, matrimonial law, contract dispute resolution, and insurance coverage. Mr. Lang also worked as a student attorney under a student practice order and represented taxpayers in their disputes with the Internal Revenue Service. He served on the Board of Hofstra University’s Law Review as an Articles Editor.
Notably, Mr. Lang is a certified emergency medical technician.
