Kelly Samuels Thomas focuses her practice on professional liability defense, commercial disputes, employment matters, personal injury and civil rights litigation. She represents publicly traded and private companies, non-profit organizations, licensed professionals, and public entities and officials.
Ms. Thomas has extensive experience in investigating claims of employment discrimination filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, including claims of harassment, wrongful discharge, retaliation and disability accommodation. She represents management in employment discrimination cases filed in the New Jersey federal and state courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Thomas practiced at several firms where she also handled appellate, consumer protection/class action, mortgage foreclosure and other residential real estate, general liability, workers’ compensation and construction matters, along with the practice areas listed above. Ms. Thomas’ professional experience includes serving as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey, Office of the Attorney General. She also served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable M. Christine Allen-Jackson, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Gloucester County.
