Overview

James M. Kenny, who is rated AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell, is a 1965 graduate of Fordham University Law School. During his 45 years of practice, Mr. Kenny has worked exclusively in the field of civil litigation, with specialty practice areas including products liability, admiralty and maritime law, commercial litigation, FINRA arbitrations, securities litigation and employment law. He also has significant experience defending against claims brought under the New York State Labor Law, sections 240 and 241.

Mr. Kenny has served as the chairman of the New York County Lawyers Association’s Committee on Admiralty, and is a well-seasoned trial and appellate attorney. He has tried numerous law suits to verdict in the state and federal courts in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Alabama, North Carolina, Maine and California.
