Overview

Glen Learned focuses his law practice on real estate litigation and transactions.

He handles homeowner association (HOA) matters, co-ownership and TIC disputes, partitions, buyer/seller matters, and construction/development issues. He also represents clients in real estate transactions, addressing lending requirements, boundary, and land use issues, and title questions.

Mr. Learned has worked at the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the San Francisco Superior Court, and at a Walnut Creek, CA law firm. He has conducted research as a professorial assistant on patent law and intellectual property matters and worked on the World Anti-Doping Code for Olympic sports regarding arbitration matters on player violations. He also served the San Francisco District Attorney’s office writing motions and briefs in violent crime matters. Additionally, Mr. Learned was a Systematic Content Analysis of Litigation Events (SCALES) Fellow and legal liaison, working on docket matters.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Learned served in the United States Marine Corps for four years on active duty as a Telecommunications Chief. He was responsible for $35 million dollars’ worth of telecommunications, data, and radio assets, and the supervision of six subordinates to oversee large telecommunication networks. During his Marine career, he was also deployed to Southeast Asia as part of a joint military exercise and anti-terrorism campaign.
