Frederick Butler focuses his practice on land use matters and real estate transactional work. His experience at two previous law firms included serving as a law clerk in Zimbabwe, and Washington, DC, where he focused on compliance, audit and policy, as well as regulations for international banking and crypto currency. In San Francisco, Frederick supported clients by conducting legal research, and preparing pleadings for both civil and criminal defense. Frederick has also authored political and social commentary for the Washington Post, and Huffington Post.
Frederick received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston; a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. He earned his Juris Doctor at the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he was the Social Chair of the Black Law Students Association, and an American Bar Association Judicial Clerk.
