Donna L. Cook focuses her practice on insurance defense and labor and employment law. She is experienced in all facets of general civil litigation including mediations, arbitrations, motion practice, and appellate work.
Previously, she practiced in all areas of litigation for personal injury, including motor vehicle accidents, labor law, general liability, Dram Shop litigation, and insurance coverage disputes.
Donna is a Continuing Legal Education lecturer on the topic of social networking and HIPAA law in civil litigation. Donna has conducted seminars for claims representatives at insurance carrier clients regarding current legal issues in insurance defense, including the life of a civil lawsuit, social networking, and liens. Previous to practicing law, Donna worked as an investigative agent for Workers’ Compensation fraud, and as a Certified Peace Ofﬁcer in Broome County, NY, Supreme Court.
She has appeared as a local TV guest, and as a guest lecturer at several universities in New York.
