Overview

Of Counsel attorney Christine Starkie focuses her practice on employment law, commercial litigation, professional liability defense, general liability defense, and mass tort litigation.

Ms. Starkie represents employers in claims of wage and hour violations, discrimination, harassment, class and representative actions, collective Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions, and cases of alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). She also drafts workplace policies and employment agreements, as well as provides counseling and training.

In her commercial litigation practice, Ms. Starkie handles matters such as disputes, transactional business litigation, and class and collective actions. She also provides business counseling to startups and tech companies.

Her cases in professional liability law include representing attorneys and financial securities brokers in claims of breach of duty and negligence, medical professionals against malpractice claims, and homeowners’ associations (HOAs) in various disputes. Ms. Starkie also defends clients in general liability cases, specifically against claims arising out of property damage. Additionally, Ms. Starkie provides counsel to clients on product liability in mass tort litigation.
