For more than 15 years, Christine Magarian has focused her practice in insurance coverage, representing insurance companies in asbestos, toxic and environmental insurance coverage matters and related litigation. She also has extensive experience litigating construction defect coverage matters.
Ms. Magarian has also represented insurance companies in coverage matters involving professional and employment practices liability insurance products and in first party property damage litigation matters. She handles all phases of coverage advice and litigation involving first party property and business interruption issues nationwide, including claims related to COVID-19 and other CAT events.
Her past experience also includes serving as counsel for global insurers so as to assist in creating a consistent approach to handling these claims. As with all matters, she places emphasis on early resolution of claims and litigated matters, including arbitration, mediation and appraisal. Ms. Magarian also routinely assists business partners, including claims and underwriting teams, in identifying underwriting and coverage issues, as well as implementation of best practices from a risk management standpoint.
Ms. Magarian’s professional liability practice focuses on coverage litigation and coverage advice involving E&O and D&O matters.
