Caitlyn Gulyas has more than eight years of law practice experience and focuses on real estate litigation. She handles commercial and residential matters including landlord-tenant litigation matters, commercial and residential breach of contract, quiet title actions, unlawful detainer lawsuits, tenant buy-out negotiations, and property management resolutions.
Ms. Gulyas also represents homeowners associations and tenants in matters relating to land use, quiet title actions, co-ownership issues and purchase/sale disputes. She advocates for property owners regarding maters under statewide housing law, the San Francisco Rent Ordinance, and other local Bay Area rent and eviction control ordinances. She has extensive experience litigating unlawful detainer actions and regularly represents clients going out of business pursuant to the Ellis Act as well as those pursuing Owner and Relative Move-In evictions.
Ms. Gulyas is also a Certified Mediator. Prior to joining KDV, Ms. Gulyas practiced law in Maryland where she handled many real estate matters including foreclosure, eviction, tax sales, condominium association sales, title curative matters, and receivership proceedings. She has also worked in family law handling divorce, custody, child support, and domestic violence matters.
