Overview

Alexander Schwartz focuses his practice on professional liability. Mr. Schwartz represents a broad range of individual professionals, firms, and other entities to defend claims arising from the performance of their duties.

Mr. Schwartz represents professionals including insurance agents and brokers, lawyers, real estate professionals, and homeowners’ associations to defend claims arising from the performance of their duties.

Mr. Schwartz represents professionals in disciplinary hearings and proceedings before various state agencies and regulatory boards.

Before joining KDV, Mr. Schwartz served as a law clerk and a law intern at firms in San Jose and Pasadena. He gained experience in drafting pleadings, transactional documents including estate plans and corporate agreements, and both procedural and dispositive motions.

During law school, Mr. Schwartz was a Research Editor and staff writer at the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. He also competed on Moot Court and earned an award for top oralist and second-best brief in the Regional Round of the National Moot Court Competition.
