Helping Homeowners and Homebuyers Avoid Costs When a Sales Agent Is Not Needed

For residential homeowners, sales agent commissions can significantly reduce the profitability of your investment. While an experienced sales agent can be helpful – and in fact indispensable – if you need to find a buyer for your home, if you already have a buyer lined up, then engaging an agent may be unnecessary. Likewise, as a buyer, if you can help your seller avoid paying real estate brokerage commissions, you may be able to leverage this to pay a lower price for your new home.

We work with buyers and sellers who have agents, however, there are complexities to their transactions. We also work with buyers and sellers who do not have an agent, particularly those who have already identified a buyer or seller for their property (ie, they have already identified the other side of the transaction).

If you do not need the assistance of an agent to help you find a buyer or find your new home, then hiring a real estate attorney to facilitate the transaction directly could be the most cost-effective option for all parties involved.
