KD’s Stefanie Singer returns as guest lecturer at St. John’s University School of Law

Stefanie Singer, an attorney in KD’s Woodbury office, returns as a guest lecturer at St. John’s University School of Law.  Stefanie began presenting to second and third year law students in 2017 on the basics of legal malpractice and practical techniques for young attorneys to mitigate their risk of experiencing claims as they embark on their legal careers. 

This semester, Ms. Singer presented to two classes taught by Assistant Dean of Dispute Resolution Programs, Director of the Hugh L. Carey Center for Dispute Resolution and Professor, Elayne E. Greenberg, concerning representing clients in ADR, and in settlement negotiations generally (covering topics such as representing clients in mediation, properly documenting the case file, and obtaining the client’s informed consent when executing settlement agreements and releases.)
