Stefanie Singer Presents at St. John’s University (January 14, 2019)

Stefanie Singer, an attorney in KD’s Woodbury office, guest lectured at St. John’s University School of Law on the basics of legal malpractice, offering practical techniques for young attorneys to mitigate their risk of experiencing claims as they embark on their legal careers. 

Ms. Singer began lecturing at St. John’s in 2017 at the Hugh L. Carey Center for Dispute Resolution. Her presentations to second and third year law students concern representing clients in ADR, and in settlement negotiations generally (covering topics such as representing clients in mediation, properly documenting the case file, and obtaining the client’s informed consent when executing settlement agreements and releases.)
