PRESS RELEASE: Tad Devlin has been invited to join the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance

Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck, LLP is pleased to announce that Tad Devlin has been invited to join the prestigious Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. The CLM is a nonpartisan alliance comprised of thousands of insurance companies, corporations, Corporate Counsel, Litigation and Risk Managers, claims professionals and attorneys. Through education and collaboration the organization’s goals are to create a common interest in the representation by firms of companies, and to promote and further the highest standards of litigation management in pursuit of client defense. Selected attorneys and law firms are extended membership by invitation only based on nominations from CLM Fellows.

Tad Devlin, partner in the firm’s San Francisco office, focuses his practice in the areas of commercial and insurance litigation, life, health and disability benefit disputes, ERISA matters, FINRA matters, professional liability and disciplinary defense, and criminal defense. He counsels and advises on insurance matters of all types, and has defended and counseled individuals and businesses in state and federal government enforcement actions in matters involving professional liability, financial services, lending and banking disputes, corporate malfeasance, and ERISA and non-ERISA governed benefit plans. Prior to his civil practice, Mr. Devlin was a felony prosecutor with the Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office.

Mr. Devlin has extensive experience handling all aspects of litigation in state and federal courts, including trial, post-trial and appellate practice, as well as alternative dispute resolution. He is also a sharing economy attorney, specializing in advice, counsel, risk management and litigation regarding the growing sharing economy (e.g., home-sharing, ride-sharing businesses) and related privacy and real property issues. He is a regular speaker, media source and author on these topics.
