PRESS RELEASE: Four attorneys in the Los Angeles and Pennsylvania offices of Kaufman Dolowich have been named Super Lawyers 2013 Rising Stars

Sanjay Bansal and Joel T. Shackelford, associates in the firm’s Los Angeles office, were selected as 2013 Southern California Rising Stars. Gregory F. Brown and Seth Spiegal, associates in the firm’s Blue bell office, were selected as 2013 Pennsylvania Rising Stars.  

Sanjay Bansal concentrates his practice in the areas of labor and employment law and general civil litigation. Mr. Bansal vigorously represents his clients in all phases of litigation in both state and federal court. A graduate of Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, Mr. Bansal’s experiences includes handling wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, contract negotiations and disputes, grievance hearings, and administrative writ of mandamus actions.

Joel T. Shackelford concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation and professional liability defense. He also serves as general counsel for various businesses in the distribution, entertainment, real estate, and technology industries. Mr. Shackelford is a graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law, where he received both his Juris Doctor and Master in Dispute Resolution.

Gregory F. Brown focuses his practice on professional liability/errors and omissions and general liability litigation. His litigation experience includes representing insurers, manufacturers, telecommunications companies, construction companies, hospitals, physicians, universities, cultural institutions, and other entities before the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Brown received his Juris Doctor from the Rutgers School of Law, Camden.

Seth Spiegal focuses his practice on labor and employment law, and employment practices liability coverage. He represents employers in labor and employment related matters, including the Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, and restrictive covenants. A graduate of Northeastern University School of Law, Mr. Spiegel was previously an appellate prosecutor with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.
