NJ High Court Raises Bar For Independent Contractor Status, Law360 ft. Anna Maria Tejada

Anna Maria Tejada, partner and Director of KD’s New Jersey Labor and Employment Law Group, is quoted in a Law360 article regarding NJ Supreme Court’s recent decision in a case brought against Sleepy’s LLC for misclasification of independent contractors.

“I think companies really do have to assess how they’re classifying employees versus independent contractors, because if not, they’re going to get into a lot of trouble,” Tejada said.
