Kaufman Dolowich Names Christopher Tellner and Eileen Ficaro Co-Managing Partners of Blue Bell PA Office

Seasoned Employment Litigator and Named Partner Philip Voluck Returns to Practice and Mentoring Role

Blue Bell, PA. (August 9, 2022) – KD today announced that Christopher Tellner and Eileen Ficaro will serve as co-managing partners of the firm’s Blue Bell, PA office.

“Christopher and Eileen are exceptional lawyers that really care about our people. They represent the next generation of leadership, and we look forward to their contributions to the management of the firm,” said KD Co-Managing Partner Michael Kaufman. 

Tellner, who is also co-chair of KD’s Heath Care/Managed Care Practice Group, concentrates his practice in the fields of insurance coverage, professional liability, defense of general liability matters, and business litigation. He first joined the firm’s Blue Bell office in 2010 as an associate, before being elevated to of counsel in 2015 and to partner in 2016.

“I am inspired by the tremendous growth KD has experienced. We were just 35 attorneys when I joined the firm more than 10 years ago, and our platform continues to grow from coast to coast,” Tellner said. “I look forward to partnering with Eileen in leading our Blue Bell colleagues as we contribute to that continued growth and success.” 

Ficaro focuses her practice on professional liability matters involving attorneys, accountants, architects and engineers, insurance agents, healthcare providers, and others, as well as representing employers in all areas of employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, ERISA, and wage and hour violations. She joined the firm as an associate in 2012 and was elevated to partner in 2016.

Tellner and Ficaro fill the shoes of partner Philip Voluck, who will continue to focus on his busy legal practice after more than 15 years of managing the office. Under his leadership, the Blue Bell office was instrumental in expanding the firm’s platform in PA.  Voluck will continue his ongoing mentorship of more junior lawyers and his employment defense practice.
