HNBA’s 2014 Corporate Counsel Conference

The Hispanic National Bar Association recently hosted its Annual Corporate Counsel Conference and
Moot Court Competition on March 19-22, 2014 at the World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida.
Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck was proud to be a sponsor for this event.

KD’s very own Anna Maria Tejada moderated a panel on the second day of the conference.
The panel, titled “Saying Good-Bye is Hard to Do: Challenges of Employment Termination,” discussed
how to make the process of employee termination less painful and how to identify key issues
regarding employee releases to minimize the risk of post-employment disputes. KD’s New Jersey
managing partner, Christopher Nucifora, was also in attendance.
