Brett Smith Joins Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck as Insurance Coverage and Liability Partner in Orlando

(December 7, 2020, Orlando, FL) Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck LLP (KDV) announced that Brett A. Smith has joined the firm as an insurance coverage and liability partner in its Orlando office.

Smith’s practice focuses on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation including premises liability, employment law, construction defects, products liability and general liability, representing individuals, corporations and insurers in state and federal courts.
 
“It has been our goal, and with the COVID-19 pandemic, it is now essential, that we expand our insurance coverage practice in Florida, and Brett’s wide ranging practice makes him a great addition to our firm,” said Bruce S. Liebman, co-managing partner of KDV’s Florida offices. “This is a positive step in meeting our commitment to our clients during a difficult time.”

Smith earned his J.D. from Barry University School of Law and his B.A. from Indiana University. He is a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM).
