Overview
John Mancebo is the managing partner of our Westchester County, NY, office, where he focuses his practice on representing companies and non-profit organizations with employment-related issues, such as employment practices litigation, wage & hour litigation, internal investigations and compliance, and complaints alleging violations of the Fair Housing Act.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Mancebo worked as a Claims Director in the insurance industry, where he oversaw the resolution of Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) matters across the United States. During law school, he interned for Judge Nelson S. Roman who currently sits in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Mr. Mancebo is fluent in Spanish and has advised Latin American-based corporations with legal needs in the United States, as well as U.S.-based companies on their business ventures in the Dominican Republic.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Mancebo is actively involved in promoting diversity within the legal profession and the insurance industry, serving as a co-founder and member of the board of The Water Street Club.
