Philip Voluck Moderator/Speaker at PLUS Mid-Atlantic #Metoo Seminar (December 18, 2018)
KD Co-Managing Partner, Pennsylvania Offices Philip Voluck will be in attendance and a speaker at the PLUS Mid-Atlantic #Metoo seminar on December 18, 2018. This seminar serves as both a course on the progress of the #Metoo movement and a chance for local PLUS members to network before the holidays.
#MeToo has emerged as a social movement to champion an issue that defines nearly every American woman’s life. Ironically, the federal laws that gave birth to sexual harassment decades ago have not changed as a result of #MeToo: actionable harassment must still be “severe or pervasive”. This program will help attendees understand the divergent paths #MeToo and federal law are following, and how these paths may be balanced or 
reconciled to promote a respectful workplace.
