National Asian Pacific American Bar Association 2018 Convention

National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) will be hosting their annual convention in Chicago November 9th – 10th. KD attorney, Jean Liu will be sworn in as the President of the Chinese American Bar Association of Greater Chicago (“CABA”), affiliate organization of NAPABA,  in early October. 

Since its inception in 1988, NAPABA has been at the forefront of national and local activities in the areas of civil rights, combating anti-immigrant backlash and hate crimes, increasing the diversity of the federal and state judiciaries, and professional development. NAPABA continues to be a leader in addressing civil rights issues confronting Asian Pacific American communities. Through its national network of committees and affiliates, NAPABA provides a strong voice for increased diversity of the federal and state judiciaries, advocates for equal opportunity in the workplace, works to eliminate hate crimes and anti-immigrant sentiment, and promotes the professional development of people of color in the legal profession.
