Katherine Catlos participated in the Fall “Diversity in Law” Hackathon Series

Diversity Lab — in partnership with Bloomberg Law — is working with 105 law firms and legal departments from top companies across the country to hack the legal industry’s toughest diversity and inclusion challenges.The Hackathon is a Shark Tank style event  that combines law students, high-level law firm partners and legal department leaders in small teams working together for three to four months to ideate and pitch solutions that will boost diversity and inclusion in law. The winning ideas will be further developed and piloted by Diversity Lab in partnership with the participating Hackathon organizations. Co-Managing Partner of the San Francisco office, Katherine Catlos, participated in the series on November 2, 2018. KD is participating in the Mansfield Rule 2.0 certification program to support diversity among its leadership. KD is one of only 65 law firms nationwide to participate in Mansfield 2.0.

A few of the participating organizations include: Amazon, Orrick, White & Case, Intel, PayPal, Liberty Mutual, Ford Motor Co., 3M, Fish & Richardson, PNC, Saul Ewing, MoFo, CBS, Sidley, GAP, American Express, and Arnold & Porter.
