Jean Liu, Panelist at 2018 NAPABA Convention in Chicago
Jean Liu will be attending the 2018 NAPABA Convention in Chicago this November, and will be a panelist on Affiliate Leadership Summit portion of the conference. The NAPABA Convention is an annual gathering of Asian Pacific American attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students. NAPABA represents the interests of over 50,000 attorneys and 80 national, state, and local Asian Pacific American bar associations. Its members include solo practitioners, large firm lawyers, corporate counsel, legal service and non-profit attorneys, and lawyers serving at all levels of government. They celebrate their 30 year of the convention.
Ms. Liu will be speaking on behalf of the Chinese American Bar Association of Greater Chicago as runner up of 2018 NAPABA Affiliate of the Year. She will also cover best practices regarding board governance, recruiting and retaining members, fundraising, collaboration with NAPABA and other organizations. Ms. Liu is a prominent member of the Asian legal community and was recently sworn in as the president of the Chinese American Bar Association of the greater Chicago area and was named an emerging leader in the Mandarin Leader magazine earlier this year.
