Michael Zigelman concentrates his practice in Directors and Officers Liability, Professional Liability, Insurance Coverage matters, ERISA-related claims, Toxic/Mass Tort and Environmental matters.
Prior to joining KDVG, Mr. Zigelman was a Senior Associate at Clausen Miller, P.C. in New York City. While there, he drafted coverage position letters and coverage opinions for insurers and reinsurers throughout the country. He also litigated complex Insurance Coverage matters and handled substantial settlement negotiations and mediations. In addition, he conducted extensive legal research, developed and maintained client relations, prepared and argued substantive motions in state and federal courts, analyzed and interpreted insurance contracts, negotiated and drafted settlement agreements.
Mr. Zigelman received his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University and his Bachelor of Arts from Binghamton University.
