Katherine S. Catlos is the Managing Partner of KDVG’s San Francisco Office, where she focuses on advising employers in preventing and defending claims by employees. In addition to handling Labor and Employment Law matters, she litigates Non-medical Professional Liability matters. Her practice also includes Errors and Omissions defense for insurance agents and real estate agents, Miscellaneous Errors and Omissions matters and Cyber Liability.
A published author, Ms. Catlos writes for such publications as the International Risk Management Institute's EPLI Consultant Quarterly, the Defense Research Institute's Newsletter, the American Bar Association Tort & Insurance Practice Section Employer-Employee Relations Committee Newsletter, the San Francisco Attorney and The Daily Journal. She also frequently speaks to Directors of Human Resources and various employer groups regarding employment law issues.
Ms. Catlos received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco where she earned distinction as a Public Interest Scholar. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Berkeley where she graduated with Honors and Distinction.
Ms. Catlos is admitted to practice in California and before United States District Court for the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Districts of California. She is an active member of The Edward J. McFetridge American Inn of Court, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) where she serves as Chair of the San Francisco Chapter, and is a Board member of the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation.
